About
Lageblick puts on one map what a flat viewing doesn't tell you: how loud the street, the railway and the church bells are, by day and at night; how far it is on foot to the nearest Migros or Coop and to every stop, with its lines and departures; the official transit quality class; hours of sun; the building itself and what is being built nearby; schools, doctors and parks; and what rents and prices have done over the years. It began with one question, how loud are the bells here and when, and grew into everything else you would want to know about a place.
It covers all of Switzerland, from open data only, and it runs on one small server. Nothing you type is stored. The compare tool keeps its list in your browser and in the link you share.
The bell numbers are a model, documented on the method page, not measurements. If you know a parish's ring schedule or have measured a tower, that knowledge will soon have a place here.
